We leave Melbourne, Australia on the ferry Spirit of Tasmania. February 10, 2007
Amy overlooks the Tamar River valley on the way to  Lawnceston.
101 Kilometers and Welborough Pass on the way to St. Helens.
The Lord's Hotel in  Scottsdale.
       $50 room, potty down the hall,
bar downstairs. Good stuff.
We catch up with the Bicycle Victoria group
(900 strong)
and share making it up "Break Me Neck Hill".

We chartered a Trawler and shared it with Amy's brother and his wife. We toured the D'Entrecasteaux Channel for a week.

"The Beachfront", 30 foot trawler.
Delicious muscles can be taken right off the beach.
Soo good.
How good were those muscles???
We were so happy we landed the boat in Hobart's Constitution Dock
with out destroying anything!
Hey Connie and Dick, is that Tasmanian
Pinot Noir any good???

Amy and I finish our adventure Down Under with a visit to Sydney.

The Sydney Opera House.
We were extremely lucky to meet Peter Hansen who gave us a tour of Sydney Harbor.....
...and taught us how to refuel Aussie style with a serving of Kilojoules.(ie pastry, energy, calories)
